Psalm 90:10 King James Version (KJV) – The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Oh now don’t get worried. I have managed my allotted thee score and ten, much to my surprise I might add. More to come I hope.
When I was 47 and for the first time in my life, I was very ill. I had a condition called pericarditis, my left lung totally collapsed, had pleurisy and septicaemia. I was hospitalised for 10 days and on 3000 milligrams of a cocktail of antibiotics for six weeks. Clearly I survived, but there were times I was so weak, I never thought I would.
Being the person I am, I embarked on a regime of self help and it is ongoing.
So here I am now in my 71st year, never look back, always look forward. What will I do with the rest of my life. To be honest, I don’t know. I never knew what I wanted when I was young….nothing has changed.
I will continue to bite the heels of Akfinans Bank Limited. I will continue to give whatever to support every victim of the corruption that is the property market in north Cyprus in whatever way I can. I will, in short, continue to be a pain in the arse. Would you have me any other way?
I thank you all for your kind birthday wishes.
One final thought…today Cinel and Koray will be in court in Famagusta defending their right to freedom of expression, a basic Human Right and not a crime. Why the case was ever prosecuted is something only the north Cyprus legal system knows the answer to….they do like their pound of flesh.
