WITHOUT PREJUDICE

North Cyprus Law | K5 Court Case Like Growing Mushrooms

In court coffee area again today. We never made it into court even though when I arrived at 10.15 am it looked very much as if there would be a hearing. As a mere fee payer and litigant, nothing was explained to me.

The advocates for both side obviously had an audience with the Judge. Whether this was in the court or in chambers, I know not.

Again as a mere fee payer and litigant, what do I need to know? The outcome of the audience is that the case is adjourned until 24th May 2013. This time I will be there in good time, so maybe, just maybe, I might be privy to what is happening. It seems in this case that legal documents for translation are more freely available to non fee payers than to those actively involved and paying for this case. Not a satisfactory state of affairs but not new.

If I sound totally pissed off, you have read this absolutely correctly.
