More on Gary Robb’s court case in the south

Act one, scene one, now where is my clapper board? Yesterday Robb appeared in a Nicosia Court in south Cyprus. The Judge remanded him for 8 days. For those of you not familiar with the Aga Saga, this online article gives you a thumbnail update of the story that is set to run and run. The only fault I can find in this report is that they should sack their proof reader.

I will not be travelling to the south to cover the trial, although I do admit I had given serious consideration to doing just that. Common sense tells me that already I am ‘persona non grata’ here in the TRNC and since I do have a rather unique way of reporting on court hearings, I really do not want to end up in even more hot water here.

If what I have been hearing bears any resemblance to the truth, the rumour mill has it that some of Robb’s victims may be asked to testify against him, how would that work. and doesn’t it smack of the the south wanting their cake and eating it? I wonder if they would offer Unwin Estate Agency immunity to testify against Mr Robb; no, that only happens in American TV movies, doesn’t it?

You Could Not Make It Up

Editor: further news has appeared in the Cyprus Mail, including Gary Robb “had nothing to do with AGA developments” and the fact that “a further three AGA associates, are residing in the north and are wanted by the police.”
