North Cyprus News Update | Unpaid Workers Riot in the Streets

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that” Martin Luther King Jnr.

In North Cyprus there seems to be only darkness. Workers unpaid for months. Rioting on the streets. Litter uncollected because the ordinary men and women are not being paid. Whatever the colour of your politics, no one can expect people to work for nothing. No pay=no hope = no future. The people need to see that chink of light, it will give them hope; light is needed so that the ordinary men and women of North Cyprus can see which way to go into the future. Is there anyone capable of turning on that light?

Hate breeds contempt, so give the people something to counteract all that negativity. Show them respect, give them the wages they are owed, show them love and the end result could be spectacular. Is there anyone capable of loving his country more than himself?

“A riot is the language of the unheard” Martin Luther King Jnr. Take away the need to riot, if a man is worthy of his hire, do not expect him to work for nothing.

The above is obvious, but unfortunately the obvious is so often ignored.
