Akfinans Bank v Kulaksiz 5 – more dirty tricks to come?

Seeing what had happened to Pauline Read yesterday, a victim of the property scams in north Cyprus, I noted she referred to an article by Akan Kursat that appeared in Kibris Gazetesi in August 2010, just two months after the auction of her villa at K5 and just days after her home was illegally seized by the Bank on the 30th July 2010. I have brought back this article in reply to the one from Akan Kursat for you all to see.

To see the leader of a so called pressure group stbinc, Nigel Watson using his North Cyprus Forum in such a self serving way to cast doubt on the character of someone he used to build up his FaceBook group is not only cowardly but is bringing dishonour to the very principles the group was founded on; to help property victims. To be discussing a fellow victim with the powers that be in a derogatory way is disgusting. To assist in the attempted isolation of a fellow victim, for very obvious reasons – to silence her, is naive in the extreme and an act of total betrayal.

I also noted in the comments section that there was a suggestion of gain by Pauline Read but for the life of me, I cannot work out what that gain could possibly be. Knowing everything that has happened to her because she will not remain silent, I am sure she does not know what the gain is either.

That property victims should be supporting each other goes without saying. You then have to wonder if you should turn the argument on its head and say, why are the current admin of stbinc discussing Pauline Read at all at any meeting they are conducting, be it with the Government or any one else for that matter? What gain might they have personally been promised? The most interesting post on NCF was from Nigel himself when he says he saw her court award (who hasn’t?) and a letter from her demanding money for her villa. I think this could be a case for pollymarples the well known NCFP sleuth, she may even call on her Aunt Jane for assistance.

As ‘polly’ would say; “let us look at the evidence”. Who would legitimately have a copy of any correspondence from Pauline Read? We already know from the Halkin Sesi and Yeniduzen articles in March 2012 that the only place they could have gotten the documents published in these newspapers would have been from the Permission to Purchase office in the Ministry of the Interior; so much for confidentiality within that department. Now, let us stretch our grey cells (Hercule Poirot does that), where else might such negative information be produced… **DELETED** BANK perhaps, no surely the level of betrayal would not be that great?

Wherever and however such information was gleaned, one thing is for sure, Pauline Read realises she will not be compensated TWICE.
