Recent investigations in the UK have revealed that many (if not all) the service providers of mobile internet are falling way below the advertised speeds. Although the industry denies this (well they would wouldn’t they). Having ditched my Turkcell 3G because of it’s extreme slowness, plus the numerous changes in the the use and or the data quantity I’m now relatively happy with the present provider. When I see the investigation in Britain that shows on average only 24% of the advertised speed was actually delivered, one has to ask the question about advertising standards. Even more so in TRNC where Turkcell advertise 7.2M/bits and it takes an age to load a webpage. You can read more on www.bbc.co.uk
