Fears Grow for Missing Woman – FEARS are growing for the safety of a severely disabled woman who has not been seen for five days. Police said that Meyrem Toprak, 39, from the village of Yamaçköy, near Geçitkale, left her home at 6.30pm on Monday, October 25, but did not return. They added that an investigation has been launched.

Boy, 15, becomes TRNC’s youngest Covid-19 victim – A 15-YEAR-old boy yesterday became the youngest victim of Covid19 in North Cyprus. The teenager died yesterday morning after spending 48 days intubated in the intensive care unit of the Emergency Hospital in Lefkoşa, which is where Covid-19 patients are treated.

End the ‘elitist’ approach to Cyprus talks process – TALKS to solve the “Cyprus Problem” have failed to make progress over the years partly because of the “elitist” and “male-dominated” way they are conducted, a new report has claimed.
