Turkish Airlines Anadolujet service from Stansted to Ercan, which currently requires a change of aircraft, is expected to become a through service stopping at Istanbul (SAW) en route.  A cold meal is included in the price and the luggage allowance is 23k + 8k hand luggage. Mainline Turkish Airlines continue to offer services from Heathrow, Birmingham, Dublin and Manchester to Istanbul where connecting flights can be obtained to Ercan.  This service includes a hot meal en route. There is still a possibility that Atlasjet might operate a service next summer to Ercan but this has not been confirmed. There is also continuing speculation that another airline might be formed to replace the demised CTA operation but this remains to be seen.
