North Cyprus Property Victims – SOCA v Robb

“21st January 2008 – Black Monday in worldwide stock markets. FTSE 100 had its biggest ever one-day points fall, European stocks closed with their worst result since 9/11, and Asian stocks drop as much as 15%”

Looking back, I guess it has to do with my age, but interesting anyway. With the Turkish lira in free fall, I guess the economy is something that affects us all. What will happen in Turkey, well your guess is as good as anyone’s but you can be sure, it will impact on north Cyprus since Turkey is the only major power to recognise its existence.

This time last year this was a topic of interest in my life:

No change there then, same call different callers, or are they?

On the 21st January 2012 this was the Pauline’s Pick:

I keep saying that where North Cyprus is concerned You Could Not Make It Up and events keep proving me right. My researcher has been a busy girl and she has come up with two for the price of one.

Now in many ways North Cyprus has been somewhat of a magnet to, shall we say, the less honest of British citizens, and this gentleman (I use the term loosely) has been yet another who has a penchant for all things Thai too. Didn’t our most famous Robb(er) spend a little time there?

I attach a link about our ex-bank boss fraudster’s adventures; Mr Terry Thakrah who not only purchased in North Cyprus but also committed himself to print in extolling the virtues of the service of his Estate Agent, Henry Charles. On reflection I think perhaps this particular Estate Agent could have done with this recommendation″

It is sad that north Cyprus is a magnet for the less virtuous and the fall out of the Aga/Robb era is still being felt by so many. A little bird tells me that Mr Robb may well be in court in the UK regarding an Appeal at the moment. More information on that would be interesting. Would it be anything to do with this case: soca-v-robb.pdf

Perhaps anyone in the know, can comment under this article.

Never give in never give up.
