Let’s Not Waste Energy, Let’s Focus On Helping the Property Victims

Today, I have made the decision to focus on what I do best, fight the good fight for justice for property scam victims and continue to fight those who would profit from their misery.

If this turns out to be a Bank, an Estate Agent, a Mafia boss or a public figure, I will do it. No one is immune. What I will never do is manufacture evidence to fit my story. I cannot take such a stand and then start to smear people without solid evidence. When you commit something to print, it had better be the truth because anything else is a poor substitute.

Another decision I took today is to make inroads into my book You Could Not Make It Up. Every day brings more material, every day brings more incredible material and the very act of committing it to print in a series of short articles means the material is there ready and waiting to be used.

When I decided to retire to North Cyprus I never realised what a bumpy ride I was about to embark on. I promise you my other life in the ‘real’ world was never as eventful or indeed on some occasions as dangerous, as my life here is. It is often a little scary, always ‘different’ but never boring.

I think the events of the last few days have proved the old maxim “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” to be very true. The real trick is to know which is which. It will not change how I perceive people. I will always give the benefit of the doubt because not to do so lessens you as a person. I know there are some very good people here in North Cyprus and as long as I continue to meet my share of those, the others are just a minor blot on the page.

I just pray that God will give me the strength and the wisdom to change that which I can, accept that which I cannot and give me a jolt when I do try to change that which I cannot. I am rather prone to not knowing when to retreat.

Never give in never give up.
