‘The RoC has filed lawsuits against HSBC Bank’

Well, the plot appears to thicken.

It seems that more arrest warrants have been issued.

We are of course aware of the European Arrest Warrants for Gary Robb (now in custody in the RoC), and the two also alleged issued in 2005 naming Akan Kursat, Advocate who is still practising law as a partner in his father’s law firm Talat Kursat here in the TRNC, the other allegedly in the name of Tuncel Tahir Soycan.

It now seems there are further arrest warrant out there. Read the article below. You may be in for some surprises.

“In the wake of the arrest of fugitive developer Gary Robb, the Republic of Cyprus has issued more European Arrest Warrants against developers who are residents of north Cyprus, says a report by Turkish-Cypriot newspaper Yeni Volkan.

There are arrest warrants out against Aziz Kent, Huseyin Caginer, Mark Unwin, Turhan Beydagli, Michele Hunt, Terrence Wilkins, Paul Wilkins, Ian Smith, Linda Orams, and David Orams, says the paper. Kutsal Tokatlioglu, Tahir Soycan and Akan Talat Kursat are also being sued.

The RoC has filed lawsuits against HSBC Bank, Turk Bankasi, AGA Development Ltd, Levantine Property Company and Unwin Estate Agents. These are companies that have traded or invested in Greek-Cypriot property in the Turkish-held areas in north Cyprus, says the report.”
