Role Reversal – Gary Robb plays “the victim and the victims the villains”

It would seem that the public letter sent to the Aga victims from Mr. Robb has opened up a can of worms.  It was obviously a ‘testing of the waters’, but rather than having the desired effect, it seems to have generated more questions than answers.

Reading the reaction of ABAG, the ‘POOR ME’, I was set up, I am the fall guy approach wasn’t very well thought out. I get the impression, reading the comments on public forums that his pleas for understanding and pity are falling on deaf ears.

What is more sinister is the number of posts that actually are coming out in support of Mr Robb and his appeal, which reading between the lines can only be followed up by a ‘gimme more money’ demand. He implies that it is the only way the development in Amaranta Valley can and will be completed. Clearly Mr Robb still has many friends here who hope to jump on the band wagon, again.

Lets look at this logically, how can people, with a few exceptions, pay more money when they do not have it? How can they trust someone who has gone back on his word so often? Mr. Robb’s flight to Thailand and his attempt to transfer funds there will not add to their feeling of trust in such a man.

The sinister occurrence I referred to are the verbal attacks on the victims by some on these forums. They are the victims, they are looking for truth but there are those who accuse them of lying, of being vindictive and starting a smear campaign against those close to Robb, who appear to living luxuriously on his ill-gotten gains. There is an obvious attempt to reverse rolls, to make Robb the victim and the victims the villains. It is clear that Mr Robb intends to try to take more money from the victims. It is clear that the majority of the victims intend to resist this. They have called his bluff by coming up with their own offer namely that:

Mr. Robb completes each property to a reasonable standard, at his own cost, he then meets with the purchaser at the Land Registry Office, transfer takes place, each party paying their own costs of this transaction. When the purchaser receives their title deeds then the final payment is made to Aga Developments Limited.

In other words, doing the right thing as per Contract. In line with Malcolm Channing’s slogan NO KOCAN – NO MONEY, slightly amended in the case of the AGA VICTIMS to NO KOCAN no further MONEY.
