Auction date to be set for property in Arapkoy in North Cyprus

Girne Court

Today’s little offering will be of particular interest to Akan Kursaat (a.k.a. arrogance on legs) I have just returned from the District Court in Girne. My Advocate is asking for my own Court Memorandums to be actioned, this is to do with the property I claimed in compensation for Breach of Contract involving my villa at Kulaksiz 5, and one assumes this will mean yet another Auction.

Perhaps Akfinans Bank Limited would like to attend and make a bid. How ironic if my court award were to come from their coffers, indirectly of course. The Court Memorandums are on properties and land in Arapkoy. Will this auction ever happen, well I really do not know and as I have said before, I will not hold my breath as blue really isn’t my most becoming colour.

This hearing, or my understanding of the events, yielded nothing and we have to go back on the 1st of September when someone from the Tapu will be called. Now if like me you thought that when you have won the court judgement, everything else follows by rote, think again.

What was particularly interesting is that the main courts are in recess for the summer so the Advocates are in dressdown mode, i.e. they were not wearing their penguin gowns but I did note even in this heat, the ladies were wearing jackets. I double as the court fashion correspondent, eat your hear out Jenny Bond. I was disappointed that it was not the same judge as the one that found in my favour in the Breach of Contract action and who seemed very fair and took no nonsense from anyone, not that I am saying the new one is any different, I just do not know him.

So Akan Kursaat, contrary to your assertion that I had already received the award of £120, 000 it would seem your claims to this affect in the Kibris Gazetesi were somewhat premature, but then you knew that didn’t you?

My next court date is the 1st September 2010. I wonder for how long I will get the runaround this time.
