K5 v Akfinans Bank | 2 Hour TV Programme Devoted to Issue

K5 v Akfinans Bank | 2 Hour TV Programme Devoted to IssueWITHOUT PREJUDICE

I am told that last night there was a 2 hour TV programme on Channel T TV in north Cyprus devoted to discussing the recent Judgement in favour of the Kulaksiz 5 and its implications. Good publicity for all with ‘stealth’ mortgages or indeed memorandums on their properties.

There was a panel consisting of Boysan Boyra as the Chairman, Hasan Alkan, Attila & Malcolm Mitchison with Evren interpreting.

The guest panel was David Wilson and Phil Watkin-Jones, owners from K5, there were also representatives from Harmony and Olympus sites ( Boyut purchasers) who have stealth mortgages on their properties put on by the Near East Bank.

The programme masterminded by Boysan did a tour of the K5 site examining the unacceptable behaviour of creditors and the tragedy they caused.

The programme went out in Turkish, it finished off with clips of the K5 on-site celebrations and a rerun of the DVD “Banks Behaving Badly”.

Whilst my villa sits on the site looking like the castle belonging to the feudal lord, the rest of the properties are deteriorating rapidly, due to their being so badly built. The future at least looks a little rosier for the other owners. For me and Eva McCluskey I cannot say, although my villa is the only one transferred into the name of a third party, albeit a cosmetic transaction since the bank family weekend in my property. Now even the District Court acknowledge that the mortgages and auction that followed was fraudulent, ergo my villa was never theirs to dispose of or live in. Interestingly, they put 5 CCTV cameras around my villa, were they always unsure of their tenure?

That is good to hear. The more publicity the better, maybe it will deter other would-be fraudsters.

  • Polly Marples

One thing is for sure fluter, justice is still a long way off and is still going to cost an arm and a leg, money Pauline no longer has, nor can she afford.

  • fluter

The bank realise this, of course, and has been waiting for you all to have to give up and go away.

If they lose on appeal, is there any likelihood that they will obey any court orders?

  • Polly Marples

No all it means is that they can reapply and reopen the case they got the repossession order on, on 20th November 2008 and this time we, the K5 can join in this case which will mean another hearing and possibly another Appeal and so it goes on and on and the only winners are the advocates and the legal system coining in more fees.

  • Cyprus Sue

The Bank also needs to consider the poor publicity it has already generated and the further negative publicity that will now follow the case to conclusion. Up till recently there has been little media reporting on their fraudulent behaviour, now reporting is widespread. The damage to their reputation will hit them financially. Who wants to do business with a Bank that cannot be trusted to act professionally, honestly and appears to know little about business law and acting within the countries legal framework? Add to this more legal fees, more evidence of corruption because I suspect more information will be forth coming with regards to who also participated in this obvious scam and you wonder if they will be sensible enough to take responsibilty and agree to some sort of amicable closure. Even if they appeal and win, won’t this just be a short lived victory until the whole affair is re-examined at the European Courts?

You cannot shame those that have no shame but you can change public opinion and hit the shameless where it hurts them the most…….their pockets.

    Cyprus Sue,

I fear that the banks reputation will suffer little from the publicity. The owners are already so well known in North Cyprus for what they are. The only way that they will suffer is if the government in the form of the central bank start an audit process NOW, release an early interim report before a final report. If as we all suspect from the judges summing up there has been some under hand dealings the bank would then suffer punitive action.

Unless someone high up has real balls then nothing is going to happen, The Family appears to have strong links to everything and everybody!!!!

  • Polly Marples

Transferring Pauline’s villa into the name of a former Director and still retaining use of it. What would you call that but a under hand dealing? Yet it is very much on the cards that this Kocan will not revert back to the name of Yuksel Yilmaz. Who says crime does not pay?

Descending on a TV station who were airing a programme about their lending policies, this time a car loan, and running riot..two of the brother owners this time. All out there on there in cyber space for anyone to read.

It is still a long and very expensive road the K5 have to travel to get that elusive commodity in north Cyprus …JUSTICE. Pauline is beginning to wonder if she is just being taken along to help pay the bill.

The bank do not care about the publicity

TRNC News Today 12th December 2014

Turkish Cypriot cannot use his land in Paphos as he lives in Pyla

It is reported that the application of a 55 year old Turkish Cypriot who applied to the Greek Cypriot Supreme Court to reclaim the three properties he inherited is rejected.

According to Politis newspaper, the Turkish Cypriot who Gavel hammerwas born in Poli, Paphos, inherited three properties from his mother and transferred them to his name in 2011. He later applied to Guardianship of Turkish Cypriot Properties to get permission to use the land but his application was rejected and his case was carried to court.

According to the Greek Cypriot Supreme Court’s decision the basic argument of the Turkish Cypriot “Guardianship of Turkish Cypriot Properties has taken its decision by a legal mistake, justification of usage of property by the Guardianship, being considered as a Turkish Cypriot who owns property in South Cyprus, is not possible because he is a Pyla resident.” And therefore even though the property in Paphos is his, as he resides in Pyla, the court decided not to give him the right to use his property.

    Unjust?

  • Miltiades

” According to official statistics more than 82 percent of property in the occupied area prior to the Turkish invasion of 1974, was either owned by Greek Cypriots (60.6 percent) or by the Republic of Cyprus itself (22.82 percent). By contrast barely 16 percent of the property was owned by Turkish Cypriots.

Following the Turkish invasion, the illegal regime in the occupied north of the island claimed ownership of the 82 percent of land and produced bogus title-deeds in an attempt to create new ownership. ”
    UNJUST ?

The RoC has not issued dodgy deeds of Turkish Cypriot land and properties in the free parts of Cyprus and has not invited low down cheapskates to purchase such lands.

  • Miltiades

BET YOU ATR ALL PROUD OF THIS :
Erdo will ….give you justice, just stay away from …Twitter!!

“Turkish police on Wednesday arrested 25 people they accused of using Twitter and social media to stoke anti-government sentiment during protests that have engulfed the country.

Police in Turkey’s third city of Izmir said the suspects had been detained for “spreading untrue information” and inciting people to join demonstrations, the state-run agency reported. They were rounded up on Tuesday night. Izmir, in western Turkey, has been the scene of violent clashes between riot police and protesters.

The authorities appear to have taken their cue from Turkey’s prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who denounced Twitter as a “menace to society”, adding: “The best examples of lies can be found there.”

  • Polly Marples

Mutley if you are so sue of all you say. Why don’t you just sit back and stop getting into such a lather…that is the problem isn’t it? You like the rest of us have no idea what the future holds. Turkey has problems, north Cyprus has problems, ROC has problems and Greece has problems.

  • AM

I can’t see the relevance of the mad old Greek’s last post ?

This is North Cyprus and not Turkey, there are no demonstrations in North Cyprus and no limitations on social media to my knowledge.

So you sad old duffer what is your point ?

  • Polly Marples

No not now AM, but the bank did put a lid on most Turkish language newspapers with regard to reporting their actions. Seems like the lid is off now.

  • Miltiades

The occupied parts of Cyprus are administered entirely by Turkey, didnt you know stupid ?

  • AM

And here’s me thinking the TRNC has a democratically elected government…silly me

  • Miltiades

Well, thats because you are stupid !!

  • AM

So are you saying the the TRNC government was not elected by the people of North Cyprus ? because if it was then surely you are the stupid one for suggesting otherwise ?

  • Miltiades

Listen stupid. The entire world community, the Muslim one included, have refused to recognise the Turkish occupation regimes creation, the pseudo state. Only senile old fools such as you and Rollie Polly do so.

Your stupidity is a clear sign of dementia, do me a favour thicko, get lost !

  • AM

As usual milti you drift in and out of threads spouting anything but what the thread is about.
I have now decided you have some kind of attention defict disorder or maybe learning difficulties ah i have it now…..you are just thick happy

  • Polly Marples

AM Mutley seems a little deranged I agree.

  • fluter

Usual sparkling wit and rhetoric from the Greek-speaking boor.

And from the land that gave birth to Skakespeare!

Wouldn’t you think the brainless chump would give it a rest at this time of year?

  • cyprusishome

What is so special about this time of year other than it is a bit cooler!!!!!!
All I see are lots of shop keepers and restaurant owners enjoying there ill gotten gains from selling c*** or second rate food at triple the usual price.

    BAH HUMBUG!!!!!!!!

  • Miltiades

Would AM or the other idiot FLUCKER, care to elaborate on any of my statements thus far.
The pseudo state is a part of Cyprus under Turkish occupation. Check it out.

The lot of you low down ill educated peasants, otherwise known as cheapskates, are being screwed rl&c by the crooks running the pseudo state. FACT.

  • Polly Marples

Keep your filthy mind to yourself Mutley.

  • AM

“Would AM or the other idiot FLUCKER, care to elaborate on any of my statements thus far.”

As a matter of fact yes I would like to elaborate, but why I would bother is a bit of a waste of time with you at the moment Milti.

The thread is about a 2hr TV program about K5 and the Bank and not about your personal quest to spout propaganga at every opportunity.

    Now behave yourself…. clown

  • Polly Marples

CIH. Gone are the days of Xmas lunch at Alan’s place (Grumpy Grouse). Pauline remembers how you met there.

  • cyprusishome

Spot on Polly. Pauline is obviously not too senile to remember that. Good food and great value, and good company. Shame Alan & Ozgie left North Cyprus.

  • fluter

See what I mean? What on earth does this bilge add to the board?

  • Dominic Freeman

Fluter wrote about Milti, ‘What on earth does this bilge add to the board?’

Quite simply, Milti shows the readers why there will NEVER be a settlement in Cyprus. His is the widespread Greek Cypriot EOKA mindset that will prevent this and he will be the first to admit that only a minority of GCs don’t think like him. Isn’t that right terrorist thug.

  • Miltiades

As I have stated many times in the past, both of you, as well as the rest of CHEAPSKATES, know absolutely nothing about the Cypriot people or Cyprus’s history.

Firstly let me, for the upteenth time state that I M NOT A GREEK. IM A CYPRIOT.
The T/Cs are my compatriots who have as much right as the G/Cs to call this island their homeland.

You lot threw your support behind the occupiers for one and only one raeson. Financial interest in your dodgy illegal purchases of land and properties stolen from the G/Cs.
Do I have respect for you lot, yes, as much respect as I have for maleria carrying mosquitoes.

Have a good Xmas you miserable lot!!

  • AM

So Milti lets have a chat old boy…

Are the TC’s in the north who have bought and live in Esdedger property cheapskates ?

Are the TC’s in the north who put their support behind Turkey malaria ridden mosquitoes ?

And as for being a patriotic Cypriot you are more of a Brit than me.

  • Polly Marples

The only person who comes over truly unhappy and bothered on here Mutley is you.

  • Miltiades

What the …Flick is Esdedger for fs sake ?
Are you a born idiot or have you studied hard at it!
Esdedger ???? Get lost stupid !

  • AM

Obviously you Mr Bubble must be the idiot ?

    https://cheguffawa.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/is-the-esdeger-property-exchange-system-now-workable/

So are you saying that you don’t accept that the EU and Turkey both acknowledge this practice ?

  • fluter

Shouldn’t bother AM. Judging by the content of his above posts, the buffoon is clearly relaxed atm.

    As relaxed as a newt!

  • Miltiades

AM, care to give us a link that the EU recognizes “esdeger”, which basically translates into STEALING OF G/C LAND AND SELLING TO CHEAPSKATES ”

Forget Turkey, the architect of this con.
