A study of 400 000 people has come to the conclusion that coffee is good for you; whether regular or decaf. The National Institute of Health in the US argues that all the negative aspects of coffee drinking were more likely to be linked to the fact that some coffee drinkers also smoked, aver-ate and did not exercise. When these people were taken out of the equation, it ten led to the conclusion that drinking two or three cups of coffee a day increased your survival chances by 13%. Coffee drinkers were less likely to die from heart or respiratory disease, stroke and diabetes BUT no effect was seen on lowering the cancer death risk.
