Modern Poetry – Venus

Venus

Tonight I thought
When we hold hands.
We can fly to the stars
Drinking the milky way.
To the planet of love
Venus star arising.
Rising for we two
Pulsating planet.

In you room
I love you.
Gazing, touching gently
Fine hair and lips.
Kissing both
Loving you.
Holding you tight
Needing you.

I do need you
We, I think.
Need each other
Venus arising.
In mind and body
Strong and firm.
Each to each
Poetic planet.

No rocket required
Spiralling back.
To Earth gently
Holding each other.
Arms not tiring
Face to face.
Kissing and laughing
For joy of each other.

Joined to each other
Feeling ourselves.
Transported by loves’
Desire of passion.
Gently exploring
Secrets we find.
Until falling back
To mortality.

To speak and relax
Holding, touching.
Gently teasing
Searching bodies.
With fingers and lips
Tracing features.
Burning to memory
Chasing arousal.

Faster movements
Wanting more of you.
Wanting more of me
Giving to me.
Giving to you
Slow lingering love now.
United again
Together.

Now and forever
Found you at last.
Winging away
I smile.
Soon to be
With me.
With us
Playfully teasing.
Landing gently
Please come soon.
