Daily Images – the White Campion, Silene latifolia for the smarty pants out there, is a tiny white flower carpeting a lot of woods right now. It is also called the Grave Flower or Flower of the Dead in parts of England as they are seen often growing on graveyards and around gravestones. Amazingly, you can boil the roots and use the filtered liquid as a washing powder substitute. Useful to know during this double dip recession.
