Two important impending Kulaksiz 5 v Akfinans Bank cases

Today I attended the Lefkosa High Court to ascertain the date of the Appeal Hearing following our case on the 26th August 2011 when the the request for an Interim Injunction to stop the Bank selling the properties whilst the court cases were ongoing was refused. There was some misunderstanding in that I had thought the Appeal had been withdrawn by our Advocate but in fact the case that was withdrawn was an Administrative case also at the High Court of which I had no knowledge and the intention to withdraw was never discussed with me, although looking at the notice, my name does appear on it. That has gone and the important thing now is the main case in Girne District Court which starts in earnest on the 7th June 2012 at 10.30 a.m and the Appeal case which today was given a date of the 11th June at Lefkosa High Court. Even though one member of Kulaksiz 5 has refused to refund his part of the costs for the case we lost and which I was forced to pay the by the Bailiff appearing with a Writ for the whole amount from me, I cannot think about that whilst we have two very important cases pending. Suffice to say, I will do whatever I have to do to obtain my money.

I also spent a good part of today hand delivering further evidence to the Attorney General’s office in support of my allegation of Criminal Fraud against the Bank, the Landowner and Abdurrahman Guney of Kulaksiz Construction Limited. You will recall I hand delivered the first part of the allegation on the 6th April 2012 and I am happy to report the case has been allocated a Prosecutor to look into it.

I have heard rumours of the Bank in question having to rigorously defend itself against allegations from other Banks. I have always been of the opinion that the only people bring the banking industry into disrepute is the Bank who is handing out Writs like confetti.

Never give in, never give up.
