North Cyprus Property | Aga Buyers Receive Permission to Purchase

North Cyprus Property | Aga Buyers Receive Permission to Purchase

A Gary Robb victim received his Permission to Purchase for his Amaranta Valley property just seven years after applying for it. Hey ho Pauline Read, hope for you then. Oh no I forgot, you are persona non grata and subject to a police enquiry.

I digress, after all that has happened with regard to this particular site, would anyone want to progress this further, even if it were possible. We now know that the Greek Cypriots who claim ownership of this land might well take action against anyone who did, and indeed the likelihood of ever fulfilling the 4 conditions cited by the Advocate who sent the buyer this ‘good’ news are unlikely to be fulfilled any time soon.

Factor into this what happened to the Orams when they went ahead and fought for their home in the TRNC, only to be let down by those who promised them so much if they fought.

It seems almost like a joke that the Ministers issued this PTP so late in the day. I am told other Aga buyers have received theirs around the same time. Seems someone has a sense of humour in the Ministry. Here is the email received by the purchaser in February 2012

“Dear xxxx

Hope this e-mail finds you well.

Please be informed that your purchase permit application has been ratified by the Council of Ministers and your purchase permit application has been granted with permission number K(II)**/2012.

Transfer of title is not possible at the moment until:

1. The site is complete or divided into separate title deeds.
2. There is a representative, trustee or guardian that can sign for Gary John Robb or he attends to Land Registry personally.
3. Taxes are paid.
4. Impediments and court orders are cleared.

Kind regards”

Names and details have been changed to protect the innocent.

Look at what happened to Gary Robb, would anyone who actually did convert their PTP into a Kocan suffer the same fate?

“North Cyprus Property problems not over for Gary Robb

The dust has settled, Gary Robb is now serving his ten month sentence in Nicosia. We all expected much more theatre from his trial in the RoC capital but it seems to have fizzled out like a damp squib.

When he has completed his sentence imposed by the Greek Cypriot authorities, are his troubles all behind him? Judge for yourself. It seems like the Serious Organised Crimes Agency are not yet finished with him. Read what this British online publication has to say on the subject.

“Serious crime investigators are attempting to recover assets connected with one-time fugitive Gary Robb.

The Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) has confirmed it is working on a “civil recovery” process focusing on the former Teesside nightclub boss.

It has obtained a High Court order freezing the 48-year-old’s finances as part of a civil recovery where assets are deemed to be the proceeds of crime.”

Is there anyone who would actually want to live in ‘erosion valley’? I am sure the majority would settle for their money back.
