North Cyprus Elections | The Politicians Win!
With %100 of the votes counted, a low %69 turnout, it looks like a hung parliament in the north with the 50 deputies as follows:
CTP – 21, UBP – 14, DP – 12, TDP- 3
The likelihood is that there will be a CTP/DP alliance but without knowing what the policies will be there is little hope that much will change. Motorcyclists will still ride around without helmets and property fraud will still not be a crime and new ex-pat purchasers will still have to wait years for title deeds to be transferred into their names.
