It never ceases to amaze me how in north Cyprus even the most questionable of people get invited to write on subjects and give advice regardless of their track record. I’m talking about Scott Kennedy, Director of ASTUTE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES LTD, who has written a long article trying to tempt people to cash in their pensions and invest them with him. ¹
Seems that the LMI scandal is forgiven/forgotten and it is business as usual for the Financial Advisers at the centre of this.
What about those folk whose living standards are much diminished because they invested their hard earned cash on the advice of the author of this blog above?
I personally know several people who lost considerable sums on money thanks to this advice, two of whom are now deceased. Thank goodness I resisted the invitation of a friend, to do as he had done and invest in this fund.
Do I personally believe that any investor will see a return of their capital….no.
This, though published some time ago, makes interesting reading.
Whatever the outcome of this scam is, I for one would not be taking any advice from those who recommended investing in LMI on any subject, least of all finance which of course includes pensions.
