Kib-Tek continues pursuit over bill – against Kulaksiz 5, despite the TRNC PM telling them not to and despite all the electricity bills being paid. Akfinans Bank is now saying that they have paid their share of the bill but Kib-Tek is seeking the costs of their court case against Akfinans Bank, the account holder. Editor: Akfinans Bank  saying that they have paid their part of the bill and therefore the power should stay on appears to be a ploy. They pointed out that their members were having their salaries cut while the President can afford to spend 350,000 TL refurbishing his office and Cabinet Ministers spent 575000 Euros on new cars.

North can’t accept pro-Greek status quo, Özersay tells US – the Turkish Cypriot presidential aide made it clear at a Washington meeting that failed negotiation benefited the south and this was unacceptable to the north and hinted that the TRNC would seek recognition in that case.
