Brick makers set for dispute – Greek Cypriot brick makers are planning to protest in the south on November 1st about the unfair competition they’re experiencing from businesses in the north. Turkish Cypriots charge €315/1000 whereas they have to charge €420 to cover costs involved with meeting EU standards, they argue. 250,000 bricks per month cross to the south put apparently an attempt to sell 3000 GC bricks in the north was stopped using “various arguements.”
