Pauline Read and Akfinans Bank North Cyprus

Pauline Read and Akfinans Bank North Cyprus

Translation of the article about Pauline Read placed in the Yeniduzen newspaper and others March 2012

This is a translation, so please bear with me if some of it is unclear. My translator is my dear friend Husnu.

Husnu has broken it down into several points. I hope it makes sense to you all.

1. Pauline Read is not representing Kulaksiz 5 and the people living there.

2. Pauline Read gave up buying her house from Kulaksiz 5. Her solicitor wrote to home office minister on 4th December 2009.

3. Pauline Read applied for permission to purchase for a house with 140m2 with a swimming pool, which she bought recently at Edremit

4. Pauline Read is writing on internet and through North Cyprus National Press against our bank. So our legal team applied to court more than 10 cases against Pauline Read and we will carry on go to the court for new libel cases.

5. Pauline Read applied to the court against Kulaksiz Construction Ltd and builder Abdurrahman Guney for £120,000 + 4% interest for compensation.

6. She pulled out the case against the landlord Yuksel Yilmaz.

7. Although she left the Kulaksiz 5 but she attacked the bank official and the locksmith while they were going in the empty house with a baseball bat with the help of her lover Chris. She is Chris’s mistress.

8. Authorities must watch Pauline Read for these anti propaganda our (country?) but and deport her the act 105.

9. Pauline Read has formed a movement to make KKTC better and liveable country but she applied to the Girne Court on 27.10.2010 against Kulaksiz for the repossessing the land and the houses on in Arapkoy. So she is trying to make 3 foreign people who bought house on this land homeless.

DISCLAIMER this is a translation by a friend and its accuracy cannot be guaranteed.

Of course you all remember the bank calling for my deportation way back in March 2012 so fatboy’s Hate Group was not very original. Let us see what has changed:

1. No change there, I never ever claimed to represent them but I am a fellow litigant and the case still stumbles on.

2. How could I give up buying something I had already bought?

3. Not relevant.

4. Five in total, whittled down to two by the courts. I have no idea what is happening with these cases. NCFP, international wow.

5. This was cancelled by the Supreme Court in 2013.

6. I did not pull out of a case, the advocate did this without my knowledge or any discussion.

7. Oh dear, Agile is recovering from surgery on his right hand even as I write this. His left is too bad and all the surgeon can offer is amputation of his little finger. His hands were disabled even back then and I was not even there when they allege this and when they drove the car, at speed at Agile. A couple who have been together almost 30 years, then in their 60’s, what a stupid thing to say…lover and mistress and I am told highly insulting in Turkish culture.

8. The authorities were watching me long before the bank suggested it here.

9. Sorry Malcolm Mitchieson and BRS, I know the movement they refer to is your baby. I did not make anyone homeless. I did the right thing. Perhaps the bank would like to follow suit?

Two years plus since this ridiculous written attack, which was very badly thought out and unwisely published by newspapers who should have known better. It is sad but the usual practice of reputable newspapers when approaching the subject of such a libellous article and getting their side of the story was not followed. Why am I surprised; ‘this is north Cyprus.’
