North Cyprus Restaurant Review | Veni Vici – Lapta

4 starsNorth Cyprus Restaurant Review – Veni Veci – Lapta

Again we investigated the ‘Lapta Strip’ for the NCFP North Cyprus Restaurant Review. We settled on a restaurant called Veni Veci Restaurant which we’d visited a few times before but not as now named. Previously the restaurant there had spent a few months as one of the best in the area until the chef left and the standard dropped.

The setting is not the best, with a noisy main road between the restaurant and the sea which is only just glimpsed through the restaurants across the road. However, the restaurant is beautifully laid out and would be ideal for a special occasion.

We both independently chose exactly the same two courses from the 2 course for 25TL Early Dinner Menu, available from 5-7pm.

Our drinks came quickly and I was pleased that the Efes was not overpriced at 5TL and a large bottle of water was 4TL. Again, quite quickly the first courses arrived; two seafood pancakes. They were delicious!

The main courses were pork loin in an excellent sauce, vegetables and roasted potatoes. Again, delicious.

Veni Veci Restaurant is highly recommended and the only downside is the noisy traffic.
