Prescriptions required to purchase pesticides – in order to ensure locally produced fruit and vegetables are safe to eat. Editor: erm, how does that work? Surely the main food suppliers know how to use these pesticides and would find it easy to get a prescription, or to buy from someone who has a prescription? A better idea is to test the food they supply and shut them down and prosecute them if the food is found to be poisoned.
