Popular Science News | UK’s Cheapest Car

Popular Science News | UK's Cheapest CarPopular Science News – OK, strictly not science, but UK’s cheapest car costs £5999 but can be bought on 9.4 APR finance for £1,845 deposit and ten £69pm for 48 months. For an extra £395 the warranty can be extended to 5 years/60,000 miles.

The car is the Dacia Sandero, built by a Renault owned Romanian car manufacturer and distributed through the Renault network of UK dealerships. Mind you, that price only applies to the entry-level Sandero Access, which does without air-con, electric windows, central locking or a radio. For this you get a 74bhp 1.2-litre petrol that’s claimed to average 47.9mpg.
