Popular Science News | Make a Backup of Your Mind

Popular Science News – as ridiculous as it might sound, experiments are currently being tried in order to make a carbon copy of a person’s mind. Substrate Independent Mind (SIM) as it is called intends to produce copies of a person’s mind on a material other than a person’s brain. Initial experiments are on nematode worms which have 302 neurons and like quantum computers the ideas is that after small-scale success these experiments will then be scaled up. In fact this link between quantum computing and SIM could be the ultimate way forward.

So, I’ll clone myself and then transfer my mind into my 21-year-old self and then delete my old self. Simple!
