Expat fights attacker off – an unnamed woman was attacked by an unnamed man she met at a bar and no charges are being pressed because she was told by a friend it would cost too much to press charges. Lapta police were dismayed that she had not come to them as soon as the attack had happened instead of ‘days later’.

Widow denied access to husband’s account – the woman whose husband had died soon after being discharged from Girne hospital cannot access her husband’s bank account and pension because the official report of the July 24th accident has not been completed.
