K5 v Akfinans Bank | Tuesday 18th December 2012 | Girne District Court | 8.30 am

Tuesday brings the next episode of the Kulaksiz 5 serial that seem set to run as long as Coronation Street. The characters in Coronation Street get paid well for appearing in our living rooms several times a week. The characters in Kulaksiz 5 are paying for the privilege of being centre stage in this melodrama that is not play acting, it is their life; if you can call the existence of living in fear and trepidations ‘life’. One member has already paid with his life, for pity’s sake I ask the Government of north Cyprus to intervene and not let any more people die needlessly. Another member might well have paid with his life had he not been nimble enough to jump out of the way of a speeding car and earned himself the nickname ‘Agile’. I suppose had the car hit its target, it would have been deemed suicide.

They are by no means alone in their fight for justice, they are however the most well known simply because they are the first set of victims to reach the point in their soap opera where two members have already lost their homes to the ***DELETED BANK*** and the remainder of the cast are teetering on the brink of doing so. Olive Grove, Boyut victims, Sercem, Aga (Gary Robb’s fiasco) Armacon, Santa Fe, Sevilla and so many more. This is happening because the Government of north Cyprus are allowing it to.

To all of those who would prefer the victims to go away and say nothing, or even die, I have a message from them:

“We will not go quietly into the night!

We will not vanish without a fight!

We’re going to live on!

We’re going to survive!”

I would love to tell you, those are my words, they are not, these words, though not as originally penned, come from Dylan.

Man’s inhumanity to man never ceases to amaze me and where money is concerned it seems to intensify. The ***DELETED*** BANK are not going to change their mindset. If this were going to happen, it would have done so a long time ago. If anything, it is doing all in its power to keep their actions under wraps. Oh dear, whatever will they do if Pauline Read does publish and be damned the ‘book’ that at the moment seems to be frightening even her. I am told it was due for worldwide publication but when she read it in its entirety, even she was concerned at what ‘the powers that be’ would do to her. If what I read is true, the book is on the back burner with copies safely filed away in four separate locations waiting for the the right time to publish.

Tuesday 18th December 2012 – Girne District Court – 8.30 am. Another episode of Kulaksiz 5 -v- DELETED BANK.
