Talks between AtlasJet and CTA resume

Just a simple quote from the BRT website:

Talks between Atlas-Jet and the debt stricken Cyprus Turkish Airlines which broke down yesterday resumed today. Speaking to the BRT on the issue, the Minister of Public Works and Communications Hamza Ersan Saner said following
a new initiative was launched by the government to solve the issue after Atlasjet announced yesterday the company was pulling out of the deal because of oppositions shown by trade unions.

Explaining that it is not possible for CTA to continue with the current situation, Mr. Saner expressed his belief that a positive outcome will be obtained from the negotiations with Atlas-Jet.

Mr. Saner also announced that talks with the Turkey’s Civil Aviation Authority will be concluded starting from today.

Perhaps not all that helpful if you’re trying to sort out flights in the next 7 days but for those thinking about what to do about school summer holidays flights they’ve already booked perhaps there is hope?
