Popular Science News – yes, it says regular.The idea is to find a few strenuous activities that, possibly in combination, you’d actually like to do each day. The seven benefits of regular exercise are:
- Exercise controls weight
- Exercise combats health conditions and diseases
- Exercise improves mood
- Exercise boosts energy
- Exercise promotes better sleep
- Exercise puts the spark back into your sex life
- Exercise can be fun
Personally, just the word ‘exercise’ turns me off, reminds me of PE and ‘games’. But when the term is explained, I get a little more excited.
Exercise is a daily 30 minute combination of vigorous dancing, swimming, gardening, walking, playing with grand/children, using a hula hoop, skating… use your imagination… sorry that doesn’t count as exercise.
