Citizens Advice Cyprus Appears To Have Closed Down

Citizens Advice Cyprus Appears To Have Closed DownIt would seem that as predicted, the owner of Citizens Advice Cyprus has allegedly left north Cyprus and has returned to the UK. If you go to Kibkom you will see clients who are very confused at what is happening.

Have you tried telephoning the tel: numbers on her webpage 0392 815 0733 – Moby: 0533 830 6886 or look on their Facebook page and leave a message, she posted on there a couple of days ago. Or ask Chris Arif on there, he’s supposed to be involved in it as well.

If she has moved surely existing clients would have been told.

That is rather a sweeping statement, perhaps it would be wise to wait until the facts are known before running people down.

Check the website link below:

http://citizens-advice-cyprus.com/contact-us.php

The map shows their old office in Catalkoy, but the address is stated as “Hz. Ömer Street, Gilanlı Center 3, No: 73/C, Kyrenia, Cyprus”.

I’ve no idea where that is in Girne.

Unfortunately it appears that Pembe Ibrahim has left the TRNC, closed her business and returned to the UK. As said, it’s not good that she hasn’t informed her paid up members and clients. I’m concerned as to what has happened to the confidential documents of her clients that she had stored at her office.

I suspect clients are more concerned about any private papers they may have handed over in connection with problems with builders or their solicitors. You have to admit, its a pretty unprofessional way of closing down a business isn’t it?

Unhappy clients could make a complaint to the UK Institute of Paralegals which does have Codes of Conduct for it’s members. Whilst Pembe was operating out of the UK, she may have been a UK member or an International member. If not, it may affect her application if applies to join or rejoin the Institute in the future.

As you can see, allegedly no notice of the closure was given and no arrangements made to hand over files or make refunds to members who will now have to look elsewhere for help and of course pay for it, yet again.

On a personal note, I never did have my table, fan and money loaned to her returned.

What I do find puzzling is that the CAC Facebook page, which I started, is still continuing and no one is being told of this alleged ‘runner’.

Citizens Advice Cyprus has 2,252 members. This group has been created by victims for victims of the North Cyprus Property problems.

It is also interesting to see that there are those who really believed she was a current member of the UK Institute of Paralegals, her membership allegedly lapsed many years ago and indeed it was never a qualification recognised in north Cyprus anyway.

Surely the clients who have paid good money to this woman have a right to expect a degree of professionalism, to be kept informed of all progress in their case and any changes taking place in the ability to continue to service the clients personally and immediately.

This so reeks of the way Mehmet Kaptan Bensen treated his clients.

So Pembe, who is Ronald Livingstone? You latest shag?
