Akfinans Bank v K5 - Justice Delayed is Justice Too Late

Akfinans Bank v K5 - Justice Delayed is Justice Too LateWITHOUT PREJUDICE

I am sure it will come as no surprise to learn that the Appeal made by Akfinans Bank Limited against the judgment of the 4th December 2014 in favour of the Kulaksiz 5, did not go ahead today.

The new date given is 13th June 2016 when I am told, it will be heard.

“Justice delayed is justice denied .” When you look at the average age of all the petitioners in this case, you could perhaps amend it to “Justice delayed is justice too late.” It is already too late for two of the petitioners, one having passed on just before the case started and the second Mike Watkins-Jones who features in this DVD passed away in 2013.

I have no doubt more of us will not live to see justice, if indeed justice is ever achieved.

We have been fighting an unfeeling regime for more than 8 years, and 6 of those years with the present Advocates.

It is unbelievable that the Government did not step in and put a stop to this torture of old people, one can only conclude, they just do not care.

So will the Appeal really go ahead on the 13th June…I do not know.

I do know that on the 6th June 2016 it will be exactly 6 years since the auction of our properties took place to satisfy a debt NOT one of the purchasers was party to or had knowledge of, until it was too late.

Here is a reminder of that day that should have everyone who could have stopped it, hanging their heads in shame.

I had appeared on GAK T.V the night before the auction and publicly BEGGED the bank and the government to stop it. It went ahead. Interesting to note that I had to make that TV appearance alone and have fought a very lonely battle ever since.

Watch this space….you never know, something might happen, but do not hold your breath…blue does not suit everyone.

    Appalling but doesn’t surprise me…

It is becoming too predictable. Taunting behaviour, in your face and blatantly reminding the victims they have no rights, no control and more importantly,no justice.

Sad to say, I really do not believe this appeal will ever come to court. The bank have too much money to give away, and too many connections.

Justice will never be served in the TRNC.

Any reason given? I presume certain people needed more time to count their mon.. – oops! I mean to give the evidence their full and undivided attention!

Pauline has asked the advocate TWICE for a reason for the Appeal being postponed and TWICE he has ignored the question.

It is interesting that Bpysan Boyra is never seen in court, yet Pauline always believed he was the Advocate for the K5.

Clearly he has handed the case to his former assistant who now has his own Legal firm. She was never consulted about this, so why would she expect the courtesy of a reply.

As for the other members of K5….
