Workers \issue ‘Final Warning’ – air traffic controllers at Ercan are warning that they will strike 30 days after the government strike ban ends. The government has the power to ban strikes twice in 12 months and the second time this was done was on March 13th for 60 days. Airlines ‘likely to put flights at Ercan on hold – Pegasus, Onur Air and Atlasjet have warned that they are likely to suspend flights to and from Ercan after a meeting next Wednesday in protest at increased charges at the airport. They threaten to suspend flights for a day or even a week and say that this was not an empty threat. Editor: the lost income for doing this would probably be more for the airlines than for the airport.
