Dog halts take-off – a dog on Ercan airport runway caused a Pegasus pilot to abort take off. The Director of TRNC Civil Aviation believes that people are throwing the dogs over the airport fence in order to get rid of them.

Ercan boss: “Airport is in a financial crisis” – because they “used to have a total staff of 80… now we have 145.” Editor: perhaps the government has been throwing ex-CTA employees over the fence.
