BRS treasurer quits just days after election – John Wenbourn resigned 5 days after being elected as treasurer. Singer’s Eurovision hopes suffer major blow – a TC singer, hoping to be the Eurovision entrant for Cyprus, won the judges’ vote with 39 out of a possible 40 but in a phone vote received the lowest vote of all the contestants. Perhaps this was because voting was only possible by text message using the south Cyprus CYTA mobile phone network.
