ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY – THE TRNC’S economy appears to be finally recovering following the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic and sky-high inflation, according to new data. This week the country’s Central Bank published its latest quarterly report, which indicated that inflation is easing, tourist numbers and tax revenues are up, unemployment is falling and employment is rising.

BRS hails start of ‘historic’ campaign – THE British Residents Society (BRS) has hailed the start of its letter-writing campaign to lobby the UK government and British MPs to help end the isolation of people living in North Cyprus, calling it an “historic humanitarian campaign”.

Cyprus leaders meet for first time since April – THE two leaders of Cyprus, TRNC President Ersin Tatar and Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiasdes, have met each other for the first time in eight months.
