Popular Science News | Milking the Cookies

Popular Science News – new laws are coming into force which require website owners to inform users of their site if a small file called a cookie is being saved on their PC. This file, called a cookie, is used on NCFP for tracking visitor numbers, for example. This is a quite common use of cookies. In the future it has to be made clear that this is what is happening when someone loads up a website.

Particularly common is the use of advertising tracking and marketers are complaining that 0nline shopping is going to take a dive when this cookie law comes into force in the EU. One way of getting around this law is to site a website outside the EU and I guess a lot of people would find it simpler to do just that.
