Cyprus Law – Lost in Translation
I read the article below with great interest.¹
Having spent so much time in the TRNC court system, and having seen their lovely court appointed translator at work, it got me to thinking. How do we know that whatever we say in English in the court is translated accurately? We have no way of knowing, if we did, we would not need the translator. Now there is food for thought.
Worse still if, like K5, you have to pay a private translator when the court translator is ‘not available’.
