Hi Folks,

You are invited to an Evening of Musical-Hall songs, presented by the Girne Edwardian Music-hall Society, directed by Francine Ash.

You are assured of an evening of melodic and mellifluous merriment.

Memorable songs like Here We Are, Here We Are Again, Down at the Old Bull and Bush, On Mother Kelly’s Doorstep, I’ll Be Your Sweetheart, Don’t Dilly Dally on the Way, If Those Lips Could Only Speak, Ask A P’liceman and many, many more.

The evening commences with plated dinner at the Tervetuloa restaurant, followed by the Music hall songs sung by members of the GEMS, but, of course, chiefly YOURSELVES. Song sheets will be provided.

As in Music Hall days, you are invited to dress in period costume, but it is optional. There will be a small prize for the best dressed couple and for the best lady’s hat.

Date Friday and Saturday January 16th and 17th 2015

Time 6.30 for 7.00

Location Tervetuloa Restaurant, Alsancak

The dinner is Meze

followed by the main course, which is a choice of:

Chicken shish or Liver or Imambiyaldi or

Fish (Pan fried cod) or Moussaka or Vegetable Moussaka

followed by Fruit.

Price 50TL

This is a Charity event and proceeds will go to the Cypriot Turkish Diabetes Association.

I would also like to thank Creditwest Bank for sponsoring our evenings.

Should you wish to reserve seats please let me know as soon as possible. Incidentally, if you are booking for a group of people, you may wish me to reserve seats and later provide details of their meal requirements.

Incidentally, payment can be left until after Christmas.
